About the position

The Senior Network Engineer position is a key role within a growing company, focusing on the management and optimization of networking protocols and systems. This position requires a blend of independent initiative and collaborative teamwork, aimed at enhancing the company's network infrastructure and ensuring robust performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Work with vendor networking operating systems including NX-OS, IOS-XE, and JUNOS.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Implement network solutions that align with company growth objectives.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations and changes.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience working with networking protocols.
• Experience with vendor networking operating systems (NX-OS, IOS-XE, JUNOS).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional level certifications preferred (CCNP/JNCIP, etc.).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with additional networking protocols and systems.
• Knowledge of network security practices.
