The Senior Network Engineer at Build-A-Bear is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the core suite of global network systems. This position requires a deep understanding of networking technologies and the ability to manage and maintain the infrastructure that supports the company's operations. The Senior Network Engineer will be tasked with the operation and maintenance of all global networking technologies that connect, monitor, and administer Build-A-Bear's infrastructure systems. This includes initiating and participating in the planning and development of networking technologies and management systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. In this role, the engineer will develop technical solutions and new networking tools aimed at mitigating network bottlenecks and automating repeatable tasks. The position also involves developing, configuring, and maintaining automated monitoring, responses, reports, and alarms through various tools, advanced scripting, and programming. A leading role in the design and management of network systems is expected, along with supporting strategic technology assessments and initiatives. The Senior Network Engineer will interface with business users and stakeholders to identify solutions that meet their needs and enhance operational efficiency.
