About the position

The Infrastructure/Network Engineer role is focused on managing and maintaining data center operations, including server configuration and troubleshooting. This position requires expertise in Linux system management, cloud storage solutions, and network diagnostics, with a strong emphasis on collaboration within production teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain data center operations including racks, stacks, and server configuration.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of server hardware.
• Oversee data plane and control plane operations.
• Manage Linux systems and ensure optimal performance.
• Implement and manage cloud storage solutions, particularly AWS infrastructure.
• Conduct network diagnostics, including trace routes and fiber optics management.
• Set up and manage lab equipment for testing and development.
• Collaborate effectively with production teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of hardware engineering, including racks, stacks, Linux, cloud, fiber optics, and ports.
• Experience in collaborative environments and lab management.
• Familiarity with operating systems and system management.
• Ability to suggest and implement low-level automation.
• Calm demeanor and positive attitude.
