About the position

The Senior Network Engineer at IP Pathways is responsible for providing advanced technical support and guiding customers through complex network solutions. This role involves working directly with IT professionals, focusing on networking, routing, and firewall administration, while also mentoring junior team members and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Uphold a high degree of customer satisfaction.
• Pursue continual improvement in all undertakings.
• Perform remote and onsite support and some implementation for customer environments.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues for customer environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design and implementation projects.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers as needed.
• Create and maintain process and best practices documentation.
• Deliver technical support to customers, being part of an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or relevant certifications (such as CCNA) preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in supporting or deploying technical solutions.
• Familiarity with wireless technologies such as Aruba and Meraki.
• Experience with routing/switching technologies including Cisco, Arista, Aruba, and Meraki.
• Knowledge of firewalls including Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, and FortiGate.
• Familiarity with Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, and Cisco phone (CUCM).
• Understanding of protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and Fibre Channel Zoning.
• Experience with load balancers like Kemp, F5, and Peplink.
