About the position

The Senior Network Engineer at VectorUSA is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network systems that support both the company and its customers. This role requires expertise in LAN/WAN/WLAN environments, ensuring the stability and performance of diverse client networks. Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and support enterprise network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and VoIP.
• Install, configure, and upgrade network hardware and firmware, including Aruba wireless controllers and access points.
• Document all work actions per company and client standards, using tools such as Microsoft Visio and Excel.
• Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and third-party service providers to resolve complex technical issues.
• Perform systems testing and troubleshooting across diverse networking systems.
• Provide 24/7 support for critical systems, with potential for night, weekend, or on-call shifts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on network engineering experience.
• CCNP certification is required.
• Expertise in Cisco Voice (CUCM and UCCX).
• Strong working knowledge of Aruba wireless solutions, including controllers, access points, and switches.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and Quality of Service (QoS).
• Proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting network technologies such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Ability to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel in high-pressure environments.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects independently.
• Ability to work on varied shifts and participate in an on-call rotation when necessary.

Nice-to-haves

• Additional certifications in Cisco or Aruba products.
• Experience with Fortinet networking products.
