About the position

The Senior Network Security Engineer will serve as the Technical Lead on professional services delivery and implementation projects, focusing on Enterprise Networking and Security solutions. This role is crucial for providing subject matter expertise and ensuring successful project execution for customers in Southern California, with the flexibility of remote work and minimal travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Enterprise Networking and Network Security related professional services delivery and implementation projects.
• Lead project teams in implementations.
• Develop project scope, documentation, and implementations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical network and security expertise.
• Design, implementation, and support of network and security solutions.
• Active Certifications are highly desired: CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, etc.
• Strong technical experience with Cisco Routing and Switching Networking.
• Experience with Enterprise Network Solutions: SDN, ACI, SDA, DNAC, SD-WAN.
• Experience with Cisco Network Security Solutions: ASA, Firepower, ISE.
• Wireless experience is a plus.
• Experience with other Network and Security Solutions: Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.
• Previous consulting/engineering experience for a VAR or Cisco Gold Partner is a big plus.
