About the position

The Senior Network Security Engineer at Presidio will play a crucial role in supporting clients throughout the Tri-State region by leading complex network and security projects. This position involves planning, designing, and implementing security solutions, as well as troubleshooting and documentation. The engineer will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Leading complex, large scale Security projects
  • Creating detailed, implementation-level Designs that align with the business strategy, the customer's budget, and operational support capabilities
  • Performing Network and Security Assessments, including Architecture, Configuration, along with best practices
  • Preparing and presenting documentation and engagement deliverables to customers
  • Collaborating as part of a multi-functional team with Sales, Pre-Sales, Project Management and other delivery/engineering resources
  • Troubleshooting and trouble resolution of complex issues and assisting team members in solving problems with their deployments.

Requirements

  • Experienced expert with complex multi-protocol routing and switching solutions (Cisco)
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Palo Alto Networks Product Portfolio
  • Knowledge of Panorama, Prisma Access, Prisma Cloud
  • Experience with Cisco Security Product Portfolio
  • Familiarity with DNA / pxGrid Integration, dACL, SGT
  • Knowledge of ISE - NAC, Posture, and Provisioning for Wired, Wireless, and VPN
  • Experience with FirePower / FTD Firewalls, Meraki MX: Configuration, tuning, troubleshooting
  • FMC Management experience
  • Understanding of various security parameters and hardening access to devices
  • Core Routing and Switching platforms with focus on design, configuration, and troubleshooting using Cisco Best Practices
  • Strong level in routing and switching troubleshooting
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Fortinet Product Portfolio
  • Experience with Fortigate FWs, FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer
  • Familiarity with Aruba Product Suite
  • Experience with Aruba CX and Aruba OS software
  • Knowledge of VSX and VSF technologies
  • Experience with High availability configurations
  • Cloud Networking experience with AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Familiarity with Aviatrix
  • Automation / Scripting skills in Python, EMM and TCL
  • Active Cisco certification; CCNP, CCIE Preferred
  • Active Palo Alto certification; PCNSA, PCCSE, PCNSE Preferred
