About the position

The Senior Office Manager will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Threat Target Systems Department at NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV China Lake. This role involves managing schedules, coordinating travel, and facilitating meetings to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide office manager and administrative support to the Threat Target System Department personnel.
  • Make necessary travel arrangements for foreign and domestic travel.
  • Independently maintain the Division Head's and Integrated Project Teams (IPT) Leaders calendars.
  • Arrange project-related and staff meetings in support of the IPTs.
  • Maintain several Department Conference Room schedules.
  • Format and proofread draft PowerPoint slides and build individual PowerPoint slides for technical presentations.
  • Maintain current employee rosters, weekly employee locator logs, and organization charts.
  • Assist in processing training requests and maintain office filing.
  • Order routine office supplies from vendors, preparing requisitions, and purchasing supplies as a credit card purchaser.

Requirements

  • Experience in office management and administrative support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to manage calendars and schedule meetings effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a government or military environment.
  • Familiarity with travel arrangements and logistics.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range from $51,300 to $74,110.
