About the position

The Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS) is responsible for promoting Pfizer's oncology product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists, educating the healthcare community on the appropriate use of these products, and enhancing patient experiences. This role is pivotal in increasing Pfizer's brand presence among high-value target customers by leveraging insights about accounts and a deep understanding of Pfizer's offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Pfizer's oncology product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists.
  • Educate the healthcare community on the appropriate use of Pfizer products.
  • Call on accounts and organized customers to improve patient experiences with Pfizer products.
  • Link insightful assessments of accounts with a strong understanding of Pfizer's products and resources.
  • Develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans to achieve desired objectives.
  • Maintain relationships throughout institutions and with key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Overcome obstacles to gain access to difficult-to-see healthcare providers and customers.
  • Cultivate relationships with KOLs and build lasting relationships with top priority customers.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 4 years of previous Pharmaceutical Sales experience or Oncology Healthcare Professional experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in Pharmaceutical Sales or HCP experience.
  • Exceptional aptitude for learning and communicating technical and scientific information.
  • Demonstrated high degree of business acumen.
  • Proficiency using complex digital applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3-5 years of Oncology sales experience.
  • Master's Degree or Advanced Healthcare Professional Degree.
  • Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.
