About the position

The Senior Online Professional Faculty position at the University of New Hampshire at Manchester is a full-time role within the College of Professional Studies' Online Center for Educator Preparation. This position involves oversight of academic and administrative programs aimed at preparing highly qualified educators for diverse learning environments from birth to Grade 12. The faculty member will engage in curriculum development, manage budgets, and maintain relationships with external partners, while also teaching up to four courses per fiscal year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, administration, evaluation, and improvement of academic and administrative programs and services.
• Direct the development, strategic planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of support services and administrative functions of the CPS Online Education Programs.
• Develop and manage budgets for academic programs and oversee grant budgets and reporting for state and national education programs.
• Serve as certifying official for the NH DOE, responsible for evaluating and recommending teacher candidates at the College.
• Provide oversight of CPSO education faculty.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Education required.
• 10 years of teaching experience in PK-12 education.
• Current NH Experienced Educator Certification in Early Childhood Education, General Special Education, Elementary Education, or middle/upper-level Mathematics or Reading and Writing.
• Experience leading teacher certification programs in an online, asynchronous delivery model.
• Experience building relationships with external partners including school district administrators and state department of education.
