About the position

The position involves driving end-to-end analytics for Carter's Inc., focusing on reporting and process improvement to enhance efficiency and profitability. The role requires expertise in Tableau to analyze transportation, capacity forecasting, and logistics, while collaborating with various stakeholders to implement key performance indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end analytics and oversee complex supply chain analytics data projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and implement KPIs for transportation and logistics use cases.
• Act as a liaison between Operations and Integration teams to connect data sources.
• Create documentation for new reporting and processes.
• Mentor and train analysts, providing strategic insights and problem-solving support.
• Assist the Operations Team with building and supporting Tableau reporting requirements.
• Execute reporting requirements in Tableau and provide training to users.
• Identify opportunities for reporting centralization and standardization.
• Work with cross-functional teams on reporting opportunities related to forecasting and planning procedures.
• Execute and train others on weekly reporting deliverables.

Requirements

• Proficient in designing and developing Tableau dashboards and reports with a strong understanding of best practices.
• Proficient in data cleansing and transformation in Tableau Prep or similar tools.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills combined with practical business knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Nice-to-haves

• 3-5 years of experience in Tableau Prep / Tableau Development.
• Experience with SQL.
• Solid understanding of Inventory Management and Forecasting principles.
• Strong numeric, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.
• Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work across organizational boundaries and levels.
• Understanding of the financial impact of decisions.
