About the position

DePuy Synthes, a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to join their team. This position is primarily based in Raynham, MA, but candidates from other locations are welcome to apply, provided they are willing to travel to distribution centers across the U.S. The Senior Operations Analyst will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, communicating, and analyzing metrics to identify and implement process improvement opportunities across the MedTech network. This role involves partnering with business users to provide data for business cases and functional requirements, as well as supporting MedTech facilities with system troubleshooting, training, and problem-solving. The Operations Analyst will work closely with various functions, both internal and external, to support or lead process improvement projects or analytics that align with the company's objectives. Responsibilities include managing reports, projects, metrics, and operational tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), with a focus on safety, quality, environmental compliance, and operational budgets. The position requires a proactive approach to resolving issues, recommending new processes, and leading the implementation of prioritized projects. The analyst will also be responsible for generating, reviewing, and publishing reports and metrics, providing data insights, and performing quality and compliance-related activities to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory alignment. In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Operations Analyst will manage a team of up to five associates, ensuring that all operations are conducted in accordance with defined SOPs, policies, and regulations. The role requires a high degree of proficiency in data management and analysis, as well as strong leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and resolve iDOC and job failures for inbound, outbound, posting and inventory movement lanes across the various systems (B2B, OTC, and WMS).
  • Tackle issues preventing orders and deliveries from successfully completing in various systems (B2B, OTC, and WMS).
  • Use monitoring tools for inbound lanes and provide support with resolving inventory issues.
  • Recommend new processes or process improvements and lead the implementation of prioritized assigned projects, within the encouraged and agreed-upon parameters (cost, time, etc.).
  • Support development and continuous improvement of standards along with implementation and improvements of systems.
  • Deploy systems and tools applying skills in database management, such as Oracle SQL Plus and spreadsheet analysis to help the organization drive continuous improvement.
  • Complete day-to-day operations in accordance with defined SOPs, policies, regulations, and laws (i.e., SOX) and ensure reports and metrics align with company standards.
  • Generate, Review and Publish Reports and Metrics and develop new reports with a focus on Automating Manual Reporting procedures.
  • Provide data insight and analytics.
  • Perform quality and compliance-related activities to drive customer happiness and alignment to regulations.
  • Complete investigation and associated corrective or preventive actions for assigned nonconformance.
  • Satisfy completion and certification of all applicable SOPs, safety, material handling, drug handling, and any other required training as identified by Johnson & Johnson.
  • Carries out other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of related experience.
  • Confirmed analytics experience with strong problem-solving, interpretation, and communication skills.
  • A high degree of proficiency with MS Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros.
  • Operational knowledge and experience of WMS & ERP required, with experience implementing a WMS or ERP.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts in support of projects and organizational goals.
  • Led Projects with a focus on site or process improvement.
  • Leadership or supervision experience of 1-5 team members.

Nice-to-haves

  • Direct Supply Chain experience and/or support of Supply Chain functions with a strong dedication to improvement and understanding of end-to-end supply chain.
  • High level of proficiency with MS PowerPoint to successfully display and eloquent analytics.
  • Experience with metric management software such as Tableau or Power BI including applying database applications query and analyze data.
  • Proficiency in creating and carrying out SQL query statements.
  • Med Tech and/or cross-sector experience or knowledge.
  • Knowledge of GxP processes and SoX compliance.
