About the position

The Senior Operations Coordinator - Wealth Management plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and operational support within the brokerage operations team. This position involves ensuring accurate and timely communication regarding account statuses and service items, training agents and advisors, and processing various account-related requests. The role is essential for maintaining compliance and suitability in financial operations while fostering a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve customer service requests via phone and email according to Farm Bureau policies and clearing firm guidelines.
• Train agents, advisors, and their staff regarding all operations-related functions.
• Process new accounts, transfers of assets, deposits, and account maintenance requests.
• Ensure accuracy of processing functions and verify suitability and compliance.
• Cross train in areas such as new advisor onboarding, financial planning review, direct business, and sales support.

Requirements

• Two years of relevant experience and previous experience with a broker dealer required.
• Series 7 and Series 24 Principal required; if not already obtained, Series 7 and Series 24 Registered Representative licenses are required within 6 months of employment.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and training skills are required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Series 53 and Series 65/66 preferred.
• Basic math, banking, and/or security/investment background is a plus.
