About the position

The Senior Operations Data Analyst manages data and processes to enhance operational excellence and support decision-making within the Enterprise Service Delivery (ESD) team. This role involves developing and maintaining data pipelines, visualizations, and operational tools to drive business decisions, while also identifying gaps in data utilization and automating processes for efficiency. The analyst will synthesize data into actionable insights and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective program operations and visibility.

Responsibilities

• Designs data pipelines, visualizations, and analyses to achieve business objectives.
• Processes and analyzes data to develop ad hoc reports, statistics, trends, and profiles.
• Manages complex data analysis projects from initial request to presenting results, ensuring completion within budget and on-time.
• Creates automated data routines and processes for reporting and data delivery, ensuring accurate data manipulation and cleansing.
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of data processing and analysis techniques.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to support inspection and technology process design.
• Provides recommendations and implements database enhancements with new data sources.

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Four (4) years of related work experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrated experience in data visualization best practices using Power BI.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
• Familiarity with utility operations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively.
• Good communication and presentation skills to deliver findings and make recommendations to stakeholders.
• Project management skills.
