About the position

The Senior Operations/OML Analyst at Carter's is responsible for driving direct-to-consumer supply chain analytics, focusing on reporting and process improvement to enhance efficiency and profitability. This role leverages expertise in Tableau and SQL to manage supply chain analytics related to transportation, logistics, order, and inventory management, while collaborating with various stakeholders to implement key performance indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities

  • Drive direct-to-consumer supply chain analytics and execute reporting/process improvement builds.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement KPIs for logistics and inventory management.
  • Act as a liaison between OML and Integration teams to connect data sources.
  • Create documentation for new reporting and processes.
  • Execute reporting requirements using SQL and Tableau.
  • Assist the retail logistics team with building and supporting Tableau requirements.
  • Provide training and support as the retail logistics Tableau expert.
  • Identify opportunities for reporting centralization and standardization.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics and distribution network activities.
  • Proactively monitor and verify order pools to prevent issues.
  • Manage daily decisions for order management and ensure timely order shipment.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify reporting opportunities in forecasting and inventory management.
  • Train others on weekly reporting deliverables and provide leadership to junior team members.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in supply chain analytics or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Intermediate/advanced user of Tableau and Anaplan model building.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with practical business knowledge.

Nice-to-haves

  • Anaplan Model Builder L1 certificate or 1 year of prior experience.
  • Experience with Tableau projects and Tableau Prep/Developer.
  • Solid understanding of Inventory Management and Forecasting principles.
  • Strong numeric, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries and levels.
  • Understanding of the financial impact of decisions.
  • Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements.
