About the position

The Senior Operations Research Analyst (Model Based) at Sabre Systems will support customers at Patuxent River Naval Air Station by providing systems engineering support for weapons systems. This role involves applying scientific, mathematical, and statistical methodologies to analyze technological problems and develop processes, systems, and equipment. The analyst will utilize mathematical and computerized modeling techniques to design and execute experiments, tests, and evaluations on weapons systems, ensuring their technical performance and mission suitability throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering for weapons systems at Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
• Conduct technical research and development of technologies related to aircraft, weapon, and integrated systems.
• Analyze and document the technical performance and acquisition risks of systems throughout their lifecycle.
• Apply scientific, mathematical, and statistical methodologies to engineering problems.
• Utilize mathematical and computerized modeling techniques for experiments and evaluations on weapons systems.
• Implement Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices and methodologies.

Requirements

• Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree required; BS or BA with additional experience may substitute for MS or MA degree.
• Minimum of four (4) years of Systems Engineering experience with Model-Based Engineering/Digital Engineering applications.
• Experience using MBSE Tools such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator.
• Active DoD secret clearance required.
• Must be a US Citizen.
