As a Senior Operations Research Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) within the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) division. Your primary responsibilities will encompass a wide range of analytical tasks, including data collection, management, interpretation, visualization, and reporting. You will engage in advanced statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and forecasting to facilitate data-driven decision-making processes. Your expertise will also extend to tool development and model building, which are essential for enhancing the organization's operational efficiency and effectiveness. In this role, you will be responsible for management and business process modeling, which includes budget and workforce planning, formulation, justification, and forecasting. You will also be involved in strategic planning and implementation, risk assessment and management, and the development of performance measures and reporting systems. Your contributions will be crucial in program development and the planning and implementation of research and evaluation initiatives. Additionally, you will provide supervision, management, and training, ensuring that your team is equipped with the necessary industry knowledge and technical support to excel in their roles. Your work will involve utilizing techniques for entity resolution to identify and establish relationships between various data entities and objects. You will design data models and develop relational tables that inform enterprise data storage, access, and protection policies. This will require you to ensure that the data models align with established strategic objectives and adequately represent all use cases. You will also be tasked with updating existing data models to integrate new data and ensuring that they remain relevant and useful for business applications and end users.
