About the position

The position involves formulating and applying mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision-making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. The role may require the collection and analysis of data, as well as the development of decision support software, services, or products. Additionally, the candidate may be responsible for developing and supplying optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation. The job also entails documenting and explaining organizational structures, processes, data flows, systems, and services, ensuring that information technology systems are aligned with business processes. Furthermore, the position supports Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Portfolio Management, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and optimizing methods to assist management with decision-making.
• Collect and analyze data to develop decision support software, services, or products.
• Develop optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation and implementation.
• Document and explain organizational structures, processes, data flows, systems, and services.
• Match information technology systems with business processes.
• Support Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Portfolio Management.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience directly related to the responsibilities of this role.
• MA/MS degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience working on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a program.
• Ability to perform all functional duties independently.
• Experience overseeing the efforts of less senior staff.
• Active DOD TS/SCI clearance required for this position.

Nice-to-haves

• 4 years of experience with DoDAF Architecture and CAMEO.
