The Senior Operations Specialist at REI Co-op plays a crucial role in guiding the store towards operational excellence. The role requires flexibility in hours and a commitment to the REI culture, focusing on creating better outdoor experiences for customers.

Responsibilities

• Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
• Review and reconcile operational business expenses.
• Mentor and support operations and sales staff as needed.
• Manage office supply inventory within assigned budget.
• Assist with hiring, process HR documentation, and maintain store files.
• Coordinate the Safety Committee, Product Quality issues, and Loss Prevention standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in a retail or office environment (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
