About the position

The Senior Operations Specialist at Farmers Insurance is responsible for leading operational support efforts within a highly automated loan accounting system for the Asset-Based Lending (ABL) portfolio. This role involves addressing escalated issues, facilitating processes, and aligning daily activities with service standards and business goals. The specialist will also identify and implement process improvements and assist management with special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Handles complex, escalated, or time-sensitive ABL issues and requests, providing resolutions while maintaining high service standards.
  • Performs various operational tasks and system updates for lines of credit during customer, vendor, and associate inquiries.
  • Streamlines workflow for other associates through operational activities and identifies process inefficiencies.
  • Handles and reviews loan documentation and client files associated with daily activities, maintaining department records within loan accounting systems.
  • Provides expertise in the ABL space to internal and external business partners, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of experience in Operations or Customer Service OR High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in Operations or Customer Service.
  • Knowledge of Bank operations and regulatory or legal environments, loan documentation, Java based systems entry, and Accounting principles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a client facing/client support position.
  • Ability to work in a variety of systems.
