About the position

The Senior Operations Technology Specialist at Nestlé is responsible for overseeing the implementation of digital projects within the factory, ensuring the reliability and functionality of computer hardware, software, and communication systems. This role involves managing IT and digital deployment projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing technical support to enhance factory operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage factory floor IT and digital deployment projects.
• Establish and lead coordination and communication with key stakeholders regarding IT solution issues impacting production processes.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to lead multi-factory scrums and support workload management.
• Maintain reliability and improve factory floor IT solutions to prevent unplanned outages.
• Provide service and training on processes related to IT/OT systems.
• Offer technical expertise for existing and future factory computer systems.
• Manage compliance with data backup, disaster recovery, and security policies.
• Provide off-hours technical support as needed.
• Develop and maintain technological skills related to factory computer systems.

Requirements

• Technical Degree in Computer Science, IT Management, or similar required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or factory experience preferred.
• 2-3 years of project management experience.
• Certified SCRUM Master preferred.
• Experience with systems operations including servers, PCs, and factory automation systems.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Microsoft Certification preferred).
• Cisco IOS knowledge (Cisco Certification preferred).
• Knowledge in asset management, inventory management, and Windows OS troubleshooting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with IoT devices.
• Familiarity with iPad Apple, JAMF, and MDM.
• Technical reading and writing ability.
• Printer troubleshooting skills for LaserJet and ribbon printers.
• Basic IP telephony knowledge.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts.
