About the position

The Senior or Principal Software Developer role focuses on developing innovative solutions for healthcare analytics, specifically within the Revenue Cycle Analytics team at Oracle. This position involves leveraging cloud infrastructure and big data technologies to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities, ultimately improving healthcare outcomes. The developer will work on data extraction, transformation, and visualization, ensuring that clients can make informed decisions based on key metrics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test solutions for the Revenue Cycle Analytics development team.
• Evaluate various technologies and recommend solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability.
• Support complex production environment problems related to growth, scaling, and high availability requirements.
• Maintain a federal security clearance as required for the role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• ETL and Data warehousing experience (e.g., Vertica, Snowflake, ADW).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, OAC).
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented programming (e.g., Java, Python).
• Advanced SQL skills for query performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud technologies and Big Data solutions/frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Apache Crunch, Spark).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub or BitBucket.
