About the position

The position at Velcro Companies involves working closely with Global Application teams in Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing to implement, enhance, upgrade, and support the Corporate ERP system and critical business applications. The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in Oracle EBS 12.2.x and above, focusing on various modules including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Warehousing. The role requires solid hands-on experience in Oracle ERP configuration and architecture to deliver solutions across multiple Velcro group companies globally.

Responsibilities

• Implement, enhance, upgrade, support, and maintain mission critical business applications and integrated solutions.
• Understand business problems, perform GAP analysis, and provide multiple solutions with pros and cons.
• Assist the business in selecting the right solutions by offering subject matter expertise for various Oracle Application modules.
• Act as an Implementation/ERP lead for projects and initiatives prioritized by the ERP Director.
• Responsible for project execution by collaborating with the project team and user community.
• Architect and configure end-to-end solutions in Oracle Applications for various business processes.
• Lead CRP, UAT, Training, Go Live, and Post Go Live activities.
• Evaluate new or unused features and functionalities, providing inputs and suggestions to enhance ERP usability.
• Play a lead role in new implementations, enhancements, and upgrade projects.
• Design, develop, and architect custom applications, interfaces, and web services from a functional perspective using Oracle technologies.
• Collaborate with various cross-functional groups to identify global and local solutions for processes and projects.
• Educate & train end users and technical staff on standard and custom functionality.
• Prepare comprehensive cutover plans, manage Go Live, and provide post-production support.
• Conduct regular meetings with onsite and offshore teams, maintain project activities, and ensure adherence to SDLC and policies.
• Lead and mentor offshore and onsite resources as needed.
• Provide timely updates to ERP leadership team for various projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or Information Systems and Software Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of strong experience in solution designing/configuration and end-to-end implementations of Supply Chain and Manufacturing modules.
• 5+ end-to-end Oracle ERP full life cycle implementation experience in a global environment.
• 5+ years of experience on Oracle ERP Upgrades, Conversion, and Customization & Integration related projects.
• Strong understanding and experience of ERP Business processes including setups like O2C, P2P, and Standard Costing.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience on configuring and supporting Oracle ERP Localizations globally.
• Proven track record in executing multiple projects on Oracle Applications in different functional and technical areas.
• Ability to lead offshore consultants and mentor junior developers & functional resources.
