Responsibilities

Performing Oracle DBA tasks and operations of existing corporate data including coordination, capacity, planning, configuration, design and data migration.
Performance monitoring, security, backups, troubleshooting and data recovery.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the DBA team while expanding outside of their core team to provide technical direction and guidance to other NBT Departments, Teams & Partners.
Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
Identify problems and analyze/review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Supporting internal customer needs and requests for help in a timely and effective manner.
Develop specific goals and plans for prioritizing, organizing, and accomplishing individual work and/or the work of the team.
Apply database administration principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the work at hand.
Install, configure, upgrade, and patch experiences with Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) application environments.
Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.
Perform tuning, capacity planning, and optimization of database environments.
Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL.
Write scripts using Shell and/or Python and automate routine DBA tasks.
Optimize database solutions for multi-terabyte and multi-tenancy database architectures (CDB& PDB).
Work with Data Replication, Database Security, Encryption, Compression and Data Masking/Redaction technologies.
Demonstrate working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control and/or Cloud Control.
Demonstrate working knowledge of Oracle database administration on Exadata platforms.
Perform general relational database management system tasks (RDBMS): database tuning, SQL tuning, database statistics, database upgrades, database Installation, Configuration and Patching.
Oracle 12c to 19c architecture, upgrade and database design and related Oracle technologies (Partition, TDE Encryption, etc.).
Performance tuning, capacity planning and optimization of Oracle database environments.
Implementation, Application Maintenance/Support and Upgrades in Oracle Applications, WebLogic and configurations.

Requirements

Must have a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, or related technical degree.
Five (5) years of experience managing large Oracle databases and Application Migrations on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Experience must include: Installation, configuration, upgrading and patching within Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) application environments.
Oracle 12c to 19c architecture, upgrade and database design and related Oracle technologies (Partition, TDE Encryption, etc.).
Performance tuning, capacity planning and optimization of Oracle database environments.
Implementation, Application Maintenance/Support and Upgrades in Oracle Applications, WebLogic and configurations.
Leveraging knowledge of Oracle architecture and concepts including General RDBMS, Database tuning, SQL tuning, and Database statistics for upgrades and installation.
