About the position

The Senior Oracle Database and BI Developer is responsible for building database and reporting solutions utilizing Oracle and various reporting platforms. This role requires extensive experience in developing complex queries and reports, as well as integrating with Java-based applications. The position emphasizes problem-solving skills, collaboration with global teams, and the ability to adapt to changing technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build Database and Reporting solutions utilizing Oracle, SQL Server Reporting Services, Business Object, Power BI or similar reporting platforms.
• Develop complex queries, packages, and advanced features in Oracle.
• Create reports on SQL Server Reporting Services, Business Object, Power BI or similar platforms.
• Build proof-of-concepts on newer reporting platforms and integrate with Java-based applications.
• Develop sophisticated Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines including software configuration management, test automation, and version control.
• Implement Test Driven Design & Development in a CICD mode in support of DevOps.
• Communicate effectively with global teams and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar technical subject area.
• 7+ years of experience in building Database and Reporting solutions utilizing Oracle and reporting platforms.
• Strong experience with Oracle using complex queries and advanced development features.
• Expertise in building reports on SQL Server Reporting Services, Business Object, Power BI or similar platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and software configuration management.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
