About the position

The Senior Oracle Database Developer/Architect will join the Broker Dealer Regulatory Reporting Technology team at Insight Global, focusing on replacing legacy systems with an efficient technology stack. This role is critical for automating the FOCUS report generation process and ensuring accurate reporting to regulatory bodies such as the SEC and FINRA. The position requires a strong background in database development, data warehousing, and regulatory reporting, with a significant emphasis on problem-solving and meeting tight project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Automate the FOCUS report generation by sourcing data from Authorized Data Sources.
• Reduce manual adjustments of data in the reporting process.
• Collaborate with the team to replace legacy systems and processes with an efficient technology stack.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for SEC and FINRA.
• Participate in data migration, application programming upgrades, and user training.

Requirements

• 7-15 years of hands-on experience in Database development with Oracle 12c/19c.
• Efficient SQL writing, performance tuning, and debugging skills.
• Good understanding of data warehousing tools such as Informatica.
• Experience with Job Schedulers like Autosys, Python programming language, and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Domain knowledge of Regulatory reporting.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of Agile Principles.

• Previous bank or regulatory reporting experience.
