About the position

The Senior Oracle Deployment Manager at Howmet Aerospace is responsible for leading and managing multiple Oracle ERP application implementation projects within manufacturing, supply chain, and financial domains. This role involves overseeing project scope, solution design, and ensuring successful delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams and business units to meet their needs effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the successful delivery and management of multiple Oracle ERP implementation projects.
  • Review project plans to determine time frames, funding limitations, and staffing requirements.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of Oracle implementation specialists.
  • Identify, schedule, and assign project deliverables and milestones to the project team.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle.
  • Manage and oversee solution design and technical development of Oracle configurations and integrations.
  • Conduct ongoing project risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate with the Organization Change Management Team to train and support end-users.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and training plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Balance multiple implementations while tracking risks and issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, software engineering, or IT related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience implementing Oracle Applications in manufacturing environments.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with managing projects, vendors, and teams.
  • Experience with project management tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in information systems, computer science, software engineering, or IT related field from an accredited institution.
  • PMI certification.
