About the position

The Oracle JET Developer will join the Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure team to design, develop, and deploy Oracle Health applications. This role requires a self-starter with a strong background in Oracle JET development, capable of navigating ambiguous requirements and tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will contribute to creating world-class software that enhances user experience and complements the existing development team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems.
• Provide technical leadership to other software developers.
• Specify, design, and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years or more of application development experience and shipping cloud native Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
• Experience working with Oracle JET and Oracle Visual Builder.
• Experience with Oracle database, data modeling, PL/SQL, HTML/CSS, web development, JavaScript, JSON/RESTful web services, version control (Git preferred), testing automation, DevOps and Agile development frameworks, OCI / IDCS, orchestration software such as Kubernetes, and cloud-native workloads.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with Agile development frameworks.
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence (machine learning, natural language processing, and/or computer vision) is a plus.
• Skills in strategic planning, implementation, enterprise architectural design, and use case requirement analysis.
