About the position

WalkMe is seeking a full-time Senior Paralegal to join its in-house global Legal team. This role involves collaborating with various departments to support the company's legal needs, particularly in the areas of marketing, product guidelines, and commercial legal support. The Senior Paralegal will play a crucial role in enhancing existing processes and providing first-line legal assistance to commercial and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new or improve existing processes for marketing guidelines and review for third-party IP.
  • Create product guidelines and review for inbound technology licensing.
  • Draft playbooks for cross-functional stakeholders as needed.
  • Provide first-line legal support to commercial teams including handling NDA redlines and analyzing customer agreements.
  • Draft amendments to customer agreements and provide legal support to product teams.
  • Triage request tickets to establish subject matter, urgency, and priority.
  • Evaluate requests for marketing permissions and analyze existing license agreements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a legal role.
  • In-house technology company experience supporting sales and/or product and marketing teams.
  • Ability to review, analyze, and redline various agreement types.
  • Solid understanding of intellectual property law and licensing.
  • Excellent judgment and issue-spotting skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience supporting patent and trademark application and portfolio management efforts is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work collaboratively.
