About the position

The Partner Operations Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting Commvault's Go-To-Market Strategy by collaborating with Sales, Channel, and Sales Engineering teams. This position focuses on performance monitoring, data analysis, process optimization, systems management, and sales forecasting to enhance channel partner effectiveness and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Track, analyze, and report on channel partner performance metrics, including sales forecasts, revenue, pipeline growth, and customer retention.
  • Work with internal data teams to collect, clean, and analyze data to generate insights on channel performance.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to streamline operational processes and improve the efficiency of channel-related workflows.
  • Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of channel-related data in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
  • Manage and track channel partner incentive programs, including discounts, rebates, and other promotional activities.
  • Work closely with finance and sales operations teams to develop accurate sales forecasts for channel partners and provide input on market trends and partner potential.
  • Develop and distribute regular reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), insights, and recommendations for channel strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
  • Project management skills with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • 2+ years experience in Sales Operations, Business Analysis, or related roles, preferably in the software industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SFDC, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
