About the position

The Sr. Partner Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategic planning and tactical execution of content development, sales enablement, and partner engagement for Sumo Logic's Security portfolio. This role requires a strong background in security and observability, along with product and partner marketing experience. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert, creating and repurposing content to enhance partner relationships and drive market results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop partner marketing plans through deep engagement with product management, sales, and other marketing teams.
  • Design and develop partner-facing sales and marketing collateral including presentations, benchmarks, blogs, white papers, videos, and field training courses.
  • Support customer meetings and training.
  • Deliver enablement to sales, sales engineering, and partners.
  • Develop competitive assessments and creative collateral to position Sumo uniquely in the minds of Security practitioners.
  • Evangelize Sumo Logic security in ecosystem/partnering activities.
  • Drive integrated campaigns with other businesses and teams across internal and partner ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years experience in product management, partner marketing, product marketing, or sales engineering or technical marketing roles with a complex SaaS offering geared to a DevOps audience.
  • Knowledge of the cloud, infrastructure, and observability ecosystems, specifically AWS.
  • Knowledge of enterprise security, cloud security, and threat detection.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills to evangelize how Sumo excels at offerings for various IT Operations personas.
  • Highly technical to independently develop demos, webinars, videos, technical collateral, ROI/value-oriented assessments, etc.
  • Highly collaborative work style to learn from others and build upon their ideas.
  • Curiosity to learn the intricacies of Sumo Logic's business and adapt past experiences to current opportunities.
  • Technical undergraduate degree.

  • Base salary range of $161,000 - $218,000
