AWS Global Sales (AGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. As a Senior Partner Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will play a pivotal role in helping some of the world's best-known systems integrators (SIs) and technology partners utilize cloud computing technologies. This position is integral to the customer success team, which is focused on establishing AWS as the leading cloud computing platform. In this role, you will have the opportunity to accelerate and deliver on the customer's technical strategy as a Partner Sales Solution Architect for SIs and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) within AWS. You will utilize solution design best practices, cloud native use cases, and the extensive range of AWS solutions provided by the partner community. Your responsibilities will include owning the technical engagement with strategic partners, leveraging your deep technical expertise in software architecture and cloud computing, and demonstrating customer-facing skills at all levels of a partner and customer organization. You should also possess a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. As a strategic member of the AWS Solutions Architect team, you will act as a trusted advisor to our managed systems integrator. You will provide architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote and accelerate partner engagements worldwide. Your role will ensure customer and partner success in designing, building, and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform. You will lead in-depth architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class AWS solutions, educate customers and partners on the value proposition of AWS, and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers, blogs, and proof of concepts. Collaboration with sales and partner teams to formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS and its partner solutions will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Building deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers and partners, capturing and sharing best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community, and being open to travel within the city or state and up to 25% out of state for customer meetings are essential aspects of this role.
