Amazon Web Services (AWS) is at the forefront of redefining the IT industry, and we are seeking a Senior Partner Solutions Architect to join our Global Systems Integrators (GSI) Channels & Alliances team. This role is pivotal for someone with a strong background in working with global systems integrators, large IT consulting firms, or Fortune 1000 companies. The primary focus of this position is to enhance the technical capabilities of our GSIs, enabling them to thrive in the cloud environment. You will collaborate with these large partners to develop solutions in Big Data and Analytics, emphasizing Real Time and Batch-based Big Data processing, integration, governance, Business Intelligence, Visualizations, data science, and Machine Learning. In this technical role, you will be responsible for architecting enterprise-grade AWS solutions and managing the technical relationships and deliverables for a GSI. Your responsibilities will include conducting multi-day workshops, leading whiteboarding sessions, authoring white papers and blog posts, and addressing complex technical inquiries, including RFPs. You will work closely with Sales, Business Development, and the Data & Analytics Service teams to facilitate the adoption of partner's Data & Analytics services. The role requires a problem solver with a strong technical skill set in Data & Analytics, capable of driving technical initiatives and cloud migration projects with GSIs. You will design customer solutions utilizing AWS Data and ML services such as Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), Glue, SageMaker, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS, all aligned with the AWS Well-Architected framework. Your thought leadership will be crucial in evangelizing AWS Data & Analytics services, sharing best practices through various forums, and acting as a technical liaison between partners and the Data & Analytics services engineering teams. You will also play a key role in helping partners grow by building and migrating applications, data workloads, and services on AWS, capturing and sharing best practices within the AWS solution architect community.
