The Senior Payroll & Employee Administration Manager at Dyson plays a pivotal role in the Employee Services function within the Dyson Business Services (DBS) organization. This position is essential for transitioning existing payroll processes into the DBS framework, ensuring that payroll services are innovated and enhanced to meet the evolving needs of the business. The manager will oversee a team of Payroll Specialists and Employee Services Team Members, reporting directly to the Global Head of Payroll and the Global Head of Employee Administration. This role is responsible for the timely and accurate management of salary payments for approximately 1000 monthly paid staff across the Americas region. The Senior Manager will lead the delivery of high-quality HR services, coordinating workflows, and engaging the operations team in continuous improvement initiatives for all HR operations. In this role, the Senior Payroll & Employee Administration Manager will manage business operations related to payroll and employee administration across all supported locations, ensuring compliance with signed-off Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and quality targets. The manager will coach and motivate a diverse and highly skilled team, conducting performance evaluations based on industry standards of speed and cost. Additionally, the role requires interfacing with global and regional leadership teams to develop and standardize Payroll and Employee Administration processes and systems. Building sustainable relationships with key stakeholders and collaborating closely with payroll bureaus to support Dyson employees in payroll-related matters are also critical components of this position. The Senior Manager will contribute to the implementation of the DBS Employee Services strategy for the region, translating strategic goals into specific activities, plans, and projects.
