We have partnered with a successful organization on their search for a thorough Sr. Payroll Specialist with proven experience processing multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees. In this role, you will maintain employee payroll records, perform data entry of payroll transactions, process payroll garnishments, assist with cost analysis, reconcile payroll data, provide audit support, assist with payroll discrepancies, and coordinate with HR on employee tax updates. This candidate must have knowledge of payroll, wage and tax laws, and have the ability to multi-task time-sensitive confidential requests. The Sr. Payroll Specialist will be responsible for entering and processing payroll data, assisting with general accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, coordinating with HR on compliance regulations, handling incoming payroll call inquiries, KPI reporting, reconciling payroll data, processing payroll calculations, assisting with payroll discrepancies, and preparing weekly/monthly payroll reports. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring compliance with all payroll regulations and laws.
