As a Senior Performance Analyst within the Government Services sector, you will play a crucial role in implementing outcome and indicator reporting for designated areas. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with Business and Program management to present findings and explore additional opportunities for enhancing performance potential. Reporting directly to the Performance Analytics Director, you will be tasked with providing comprehensive reporting on key metrics, which includes weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports. This role requires a keen analytical mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders to ensure that performance insights are actionable and understood. In your day-to-day activities, you will compile and review monthly reporting packages for each assigned area, identifying any areas that require further investigation before distribution. You will communicate your findings to the appropriate personnel within the organization, ensuring that all relevant parties are informed and equipped to make data-driven decisions. Additionally, you will oversee the development of ad hoc analysis tools that will assist department heads and managers in evaluating performance, comparing actual results to forecasts, and providing trend analysis. Your role will also involve identifying and researching trends that necessitate further review and analysis. Regular meetings with assigned Business and Program management will be essential to review results and identify additional opportunities for analysis. You will ensure that end-users have a clear understanding of the information available to them for review, and you will review the work generated by Performance Analysts to ensure accuracy and proper interpretation of data. This position may also involve performing other tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the performance analytics team.
