About the position

The position at UnitedHealthcare involves supporting members by collecting clinical information for Medicare Part D Appeal Requests. The job offers the flexibility to telecommute and requires working Monday to Friday with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to collect clinical information for Medicare Part D Appeal Requests

• Eager to learn to work in many Windows-based applications and other complex systems

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 4+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in your state of residence OR National Certification (PTCB)
• 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8-hour shift between 8:00am -6pm local time, with rotating weekends & holidays

Nice-to-haves

• Previous prior Authorization experience
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in retail, hospital, specialty pharmacy
• Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
