About the position

The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive - Specialty is responsible for leveraging geographic analysis and engaging with physician offices to influence the routing of patients' prescriptions to Humana Pharmacy. This role focuses on increasing orders and revenues for Humana Pharmacy, making decisions on complex issues, and working independently to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities

• Leverage geographic analysis to engage with physician offices.
• Influence physicians to route patients' prescriptions to Humana Pharmacy.
• Increase orders to Humana Pharmacy, resulting in increased prescriptions and revenues.
• Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding project components.
• Work independently with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in sales with documented success.
• Experience working in a healthcare setting and/or managed care environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partnering business segments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Pharmacy reporting or the Pharmaceutical industry.
• Self-motivation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Exposure to pharmaceutical contracting language.
• Specialty Pharmacy or Managed Care experience preferred.
