About the position

We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer for a permanent position that can be worked either in Greenville, SC or remotely. The role offers a competitive salary ranging from $80K to $90K based on experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PHP and a strong understanding of ORM and object-oriented principles. This position promises a supportive work environment and full benefits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Implement Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) and adhere to data abstraction principles.
• Utilize MVC frameworks, preferably Laravel, for application development.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality code through unit testing and TDD.
• Integrate RESTful web services into applications.
• Participate in continuous integration processes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in PHP development (minimum PHP v5).
• Strong understanding of MVC frameworks, with a preference for Laravel.
• Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery, and CSS UI.
• Proficient in unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
• Good communication skills and a high-energy, motivated attitude.
