About the position

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Corporate Restructuring platform, focusing on PHP and Java applications. This role requires a strong background in software design, coding, and troubleshooting production issues, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality web applications in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PHP and enterprise Java applications.
• Ensure performance, security, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and remediate defects.
• Provide ongoing production support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise web applications in PHP.
• Experience in developing Java applications, preferably using Spring Framework.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience in managing dependencies with Composer.
• Solid knowledge of unit testing, backed with experience (PHPUnit, jUnit).
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
• Strong understanding of back-end development.
• Experience with MySQL database design and management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with AWS services such as Fargate, ECR, ECS, S3, RDS, CloudFront, and Lambda functions.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (Kanban).
