About the position

The Senior Web Developer will manage web development activities for the SiteWorks organization, focusing on customer requirements and project tracking. This role involves providing technical expertise in SharePoint and web applications, leading troubleshooting efforts, and ensuring system performance. The position is part of a collaborative team dedicated to innovative solutions and mission success, with opportunities for professional growth and impact.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Web Team development activities including SharePoint and Confluence pages.
  • Track SharePoint projects and provide web site awareness and training to team members.
  • Report project status to contract TTO and customer leads through various communication methods.
  • Develop and maintain system design and documentation for SharePoint Development environment.
  • Provide system administration support and troubleshoot SharePoint technical issues.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance of existing SharePoint Web applications.
  • Provide technical expertise to customers on web-based matters.
  • Develop technical web application interfaces and perform testing and quality assurance.
  • Provide technical support on SharePoint 2013/2019 and related technologies.
  • Maintain legacy systems and integrate new software with existing applications.
  • Participate in web application software testing and integration.
  • Evaluate and identify new web technologies for potential implementation.
  • Conduct training on web-related processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 6 years, or Doctoral degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.
  • An Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered.
  • Computer Science degree or related field.
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Experience with PHP development.
  • Experience with Python and web development using Python.
  • Experience developing business analytics.
  • Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres).
  • Linux user skills.
  • Ability to work in a small dynamic team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks.
