About the position

The Senior Web Developer position at Leidos focuses on managing web development activities within the prototype development program, emphasizing collaboration with customers and innovative solutions. Responsibilities

  • Manage Web Team development activities including SharePoint pages and web features based on customer requirements.
  • Report status of Web Team projects to contract TTO and customer leads through various communication methods.
  • Develop and maintain system design and documentation for the SharePoint Development environment.
  • Provide system administration support and troubleshooting for the SharePoint Development environment.
  • Lead troubleshooting of SharePoint technical issues and communicate with relevant teams to resolve them.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance parameters of existing SharePoint Web applications.
  • Provide technical expertise and consultancy on web-based matters related to SiteWorks and SharePoint applications.
  • Develop technical web application interfaces including design, development, deployment, and maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support on SharePoint 2013/2019, including custom workflows and document libraries.
  • Maintain legacy systems during their transition to new platforms.
  • Integrate new software with existing applications as required.
  • Enhance current web interfaces based on customer requirements.
  • Participate in web application software testing and integration.
  • Evaluate and identify new web technologies for potential implementation.
  • Conduct training on web-related processes for team members and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, Master's degree plus 6 years, or Doctoral degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Computer Science (CS) degree or related field.
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Experience with PHP development.
  • Experience with Python and web development using Python.
  • Experience developing business analytics.
  • Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres).
  • Linux user skills.
  • Ability to work in a small dynamic team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks.
