About the position

The Senior PHP Web Developer at Leidos is responsible for managing web development activities, particularly focusing on SharePoint and other web applications. This role involves collaborating closely with customers to deliver innovative solutions, enhance mission operations, and support rapid prototyping efforts. The position requires a strong technical background in web development, particularly with PHP and Python, and a commitment to teamwork and customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Web Team development activities including SharePoint and Confluence pages.
  • Report status of Web Team projects to contract TTO and customer leads.
  • Develop and maintain system design and documentation for SharePoint Development environment.
  • Provide system administration support and troubleshooting for SharePoint.
  • Lead troubleshooting of SharePoint technical issues and communicate with relevant teams.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance of existing SharePoint Web applications.
  • Provide technical expertise to customers on web-based matters.
  • Develop technical web application interfaces and perform testing and quality assurance.
  • Provide technical support on SharePoint 2013/2019 and related technologies.
  • Maintain legacy systems during their transition to new platforms.
  • Integrate new software with existing applications as required.
  • Enhance current web interfaces based on customer requirements.
  • Participate in web application software testing and integration.
  • Evaluate and identify new web technologies for potential implementation.
  • Conduct training on web-related processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 6 years, or Doctoral degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Experience with PHP development.
  • Experience with Python and web development using Python.
  • Experience developing business analytics.
  • Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres).
  • Linux user skills.
  • Ability to work in a small dynamic team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks.
