About the position

The Senior Physician Compensation Analyst is a part-time role focused on administering data collection and analysis for physician and Medical Group compensation programs. This position involves leading training and mentoring efforts within the Physician Compensation group, ensuring timely and accurate payments to physicians and Medical Groups, and recommending solutions to meet departmental needs. The analyst will also participate in survey analysis and produce compensation and productivity reports for various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer data collection and analysis for physician and Medical Group compensation programs.
• Lead training, auditing, and mentoring efforts for the Physician Compensation Analyst team.
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to physicians and Medical Groups.
• Recommend program and system solutions to address changing departmental needs.
• Participate in survey analysis and review compensation and productivity reports.
• Conduct analyses requested by executive leadership, Board of Directors, Medical Directors, individual providers, and corporate counsel.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or physician compensation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficient in data development and report preparation.
• Senior skill level in Excel and Access.
• Effective communication skills and analytical abilities for data management.

Nice-to-haves

• Healthcare experience preferred.
• 2-5 years in a lead position preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services preferred.
• Experience with relational databases preferred.
