This position is specifically focused on the brand Dr. Dennis Gross and requires a deep understanding of both permanent and limited life products. The Senior Planner will lead monthly Demand Review meetings, ensuring that the US commercial organization and the head of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) are aligned and can approve demand submissions at the regional level. This role is highly collaborative, necessitating close communication with various teams including Brand Global Marketing, US Finance, Operations, and Domestic Sales and Marketing Teams. The Senior Planner will be responsible for creating and managing an 18-month demand plan for retailers, as well as developing forecasts for new product launches that meet financial targets based on historical data and growth strategies. This includes leading internal demand review meetings to ensure that each retailer's demand aligns with budget and sales targets, and is in sync with the expectations of the brand's commercial leadership and S&OP leads. The role also involves accountability for monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Forecast Accuracy and Forecast Bias, along with conducting monthly root cause analyses to report findings and implement corrective actions. The position requires implementing Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Statistical Forecasting for the US portfolio, cleansing historical data, and ensuring statistical forecasting is applied across all retailers. The Senior Planner will also facilitate pre-Demand Review and Demand Review meetings, ensuring alignment among Demand Planning, sales, marketing, and finance teams before finalizing the demand plan for production execution. Furthermore, the role includes leading US Launch Consensus meetings with key stakeholders to ensure that product launches are appropriately sized according to financial targets and retail projections, thereby ensuring sufficient inventory for successful launches.
