About the position

The Senior Plant Integration Engineer position at Westinghouse Electric Company is a pivotal role within the Plant Engineering group of the Global Engineering Services organization. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about contributing to innovative clean energy solutions and are eager to work in a collaborative environment. The role requires a hybrid work model, necessitating two days per week on-site at one of the Westinghouse facilities located in Cranberry Township, PA, or Rock Hill, SC. In this role, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities that encompass the design, fabrication, construction, and maintenance of large-scale nuclear and non-nuclear projects. As a Senior Plant Integration Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the overall plant design adheres to established parameters and requirements, while minimizing potential conflicts in physical layout. You will utilize 3D design software to perform physical arrangement assessments and will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings and criteria documents. Additionally, you will leverage Westinghouse's proprietary digital design architecture, NEXUS, to author, review, and verify engineering designs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations. Your role will also involve providing engineering support to various departments, responding to requests for information, and facilitating design changes as necessary.
