About the position

As a Senior ServiceNow Platform Engineer at Prudential, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the ServiceNow CMDB and Asset Management capabilities. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to develop, configure, and deliver solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. You will leverage your technical expertise to solve complex business problems and contribute to the digital transformation initiatives of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Configure and build applications on the ServiceNow platform following industry standards.
• Develop high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code that aligns with Prudential standards.
• Design business logic and integration patterns within the Prudential Ecosystem.
• Write unit, integration tests, and functional automation to address product support issues.
• Work on complex problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables.
• Develop, configure, and deliver solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including core setup and third-party integrations.
• Attend agile team and stakeholder meetings to gather business requirements and provide input on ServiceNow capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in IT with a strong background as a Solution Engineer or Software Developer.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Knowledge of business concepts and tools for sound decision-making.
• Ability to learn new skills and knowledge continuously.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Javascript, XML, JSON, REST, and SOAP APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow administration, development, and troubleshooting.
