About the position

The Senior Policy Manager for Product Quality at Amazon's Perfect Order Experience organization is responsible for developing and improving internal and external policies related to product quality risks. This role involves addressing high-risk issues faced by Amazon, ensuring that customers receive authentic products, and enhancing the seller experience. The position requires strong stakeholder management and the ability to derive insights from data to create effective policies that balance risk mitigation with positive partner experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of strategy and policies governing the seller experience for high-risk product listings.
• Define roadmaps to achieve business goals that balance customer risks with a positive selling experience.
• Strengthen internal risk controls related to seller communications and investigation decision quality.
• Collaborate with business, legal, operations, and technology stakeholders to define requirements and establish policies.
• Plan and conduct product/business reviews and reporting, regularly communicating policy updates to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for streamlining and simplifying existing policies and seller communications.
• Define and report on key metrics and performance indicators for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Nice-to-haves

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
• Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies for process improvements
• Master's degree or equivalent
