About the position

The Senior Policy Manager for Product Quality at Amazon is responsible for developing and improving internal and external policies related to product quality risks, ensuring a positive seller experience while mitigating risks. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders across business, legal, technology, and operations to create effective strategies and policies that enhance the seller experience and protect customers. The position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to navigate complex situations to drive policy success on a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of strategy and policies governing the seller experience for high-risk product listings.
• Define roadmaps to balance risks facing Amazon customers with enabling a positive selling experience for partners.
• Strengthen internal risk controls related to seller communications and investigation decision quality.
• Work with stakeholders to define requirements, establish policies, and measure results.
• Plan and conduct product/business reviews and communicate policy updates to key stakeholders.
• Seek opportunities for streamlining and simplification of existing policies and seller communications.
• Define and report on key metrics and performance indicators for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Nice-to-haves

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
• Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies
• Master's degree or equivalent
