About the position

The Senior Power BI Developer is responsible for leveraging advanced technical expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to create cloud-based data visualizations and analytics. This role involves integrating and managing large datasets using Azure Data Lake and Databricks, while ensuring effective data governance and security measures are in place. The developer will work closely with various functional areas to provide insights and support a unified analytics strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using Power BI Premium and Microsoft Fabric.
• Integrate and manage large datasets using Azure Data Lake and Databricks.
• Implement Row Level Security and manage Power BI administration tasks.
• Build efficient data models and perform complex queries using DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
• Stay updated on Business Intelligence trends and cloud-based technologies, including predictive analytics and IoT.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide analytical support.

Requirements

• Technical expertise with Power BI Premium and Microsoft Fabric Capacity (Above F64).
• Strong experience with Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and Lakehouse architecture.
• Deep knowledge of Power BI Service, including Premium capacity and Row Level Security.
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and SQL for building data models and complex queries.
• Experience with Business Intelligence trends and cloud-based technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance functional areas.
• Understanding of data governance frameworks and practices.
